A Sin So Sweet roamed aimlessly, her Red Roan coat, once silky and healthy, was brown and matted. Her eyes were endlessly staring solemnly at the earth beneath her. With each step her slate blue hooves arouse a miniature storm of dust that twirled around her slender legs. Her hocks were swollen and her hooves were split. The female’s crusted, formally icy blue eyes retained a softer hue and were brimming with sorrow and grief. Her young placid face was caked with dirt. The 3 year old mare limped through the first light’s fog. A solitary tear traced its way down her muzzle collecting filth, and fell onto the parched soil beneath her with a hushed "pat". Powerless to go in further, both bodily and emotionally, she folded her trembling pillars and lowered herself gingerly to the ground. Another tear rolled down her cheek revealing a glossy path beneath the grime. She lay there, awaiting a friendly voice.
